The Internet Challenge guides students as they study a particular animal, habitat, or conservation issue. However, the Internet Challenge goes beyond just the facts by introducing thought provoking material and concepts. With questions in hand, learners are given a series of carefully reviewed websites to explore as they search for the answers. The Internet Challenge is great for learners to explore individually or for whole classrooms to experience collectively as they prepare for a zoo visit. It is also a good review and assessment tool for after the visit. The Challenge provides teachers and zoos with a measure of learning goal achievement.
